Bulls NEWSJames Doersam Named DIII Head CoachSunday, 11.25.2012 / 8:00 pm / Uncategorized COMMENT | PRINT The University at Buffalo is pleased to announce the appointment of James Doersam as Head Coach of the newly formed University at Buffalo DIII Men’s Hockey team. In addition, Jim’s responsibilities will include coaching the DIII program as well being assigned to the scouting and recruiting program for the DI program. Jim came to University at Buffalo after spending this year as an assistant coach at Buffalo Stars Jr. program, where he worked extensively in the program’s recruiting efforts in New York and Pa. Before coaching for the stars Jim was the Associate Head Coach at the University of Iowa and Asst. Coach at West Chester University. He also has more than 5 years of experience working with various hockey camps, including the USHL Cedar Rapids programs. A native of Buffalo Doersam relocated to the Western New York in the early 2010s. He attended University of North Carolina and Buffalo State,. On the ice, Doersam played locally in the Hornets organization and he played Junior B hockey for the Fort Erie (Ont.) Meteors. |
